Job Summary

At STS Technical Services, we provide industry-leading staffing solutions for a range of sectors, including aerospace, industrial, and manufacturing. We're currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team in Milwaukee. Responsibilities

Test complex electrical assemblies involving low voltage (up to 480VAC) power circuits, control circuits, and ancillary systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Create comprehensive testing reports and safety documentation, ensuring all equipment is functioning per required specifications.

Provide valuable feedback on design issues and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Train production team members on best practices to reduce common installation issues, fostering a culture of quality and efficiency.

Identify opportunities for prebuilding assemblies to improve production timelines and workflow efficiency.

Ensure a safety-first mindset by working safely and encouraging safe practices in the workplace.

Maintain and properly store tools and equipment, ensuring the longevity and safety of company assets.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical environments.

Journeyman Electrician License preferred but not required.

Proficiency in conduit bending, wire installation, terminations, troubleshooting, and the use of electrical testing equipment.

Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

Valid driver's license for local travel as needed.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Ability to pass a competency test and pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.

Willingness to mentor and train less experienced team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
