Field Service TechnicianLocation:
Milwaukee, WI (Must live within commuting distance)
Salary:
$30 -$39/hr + OT + 70$ per diem + company credit card
Requirements:
Able to travel locally up to 70% throughout the US•willing to teach PLC programming•Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires technical expertise in mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics, as well as strong problem-solving skills. We would like someone with an interest in learning and developing their PLC programming skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure equipment at customer sitesPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on pneumatic and hydraulic systemsRepair and replace faulty mechanical componentsProvide technical support and training to customers on equipment operationDocument service visits and maintain accurate records of work performedCollaborate with engineering and sales teams to resolve customer issues and improve service deliveryWe work to keep a 1 week traveling and 1 week in the plant routine, however large projects can take as long as 3 weeks. We keep team members aware of these upcoming projects and this long stayover in advance.

QualificationsProven experience as a Field Service Technician or a similar roleStrong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systemsMechanical troubleshooting skillsExperience with PLC and electrical systems is a plusFamiliarity with Allen-Bradley products is advantageousExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyBenefits3 Weeks of PTOCompany Credit CardPer Diem - $70/DayHealthDentalVision401KOvertime Pay 1.5 after 40 hours of workCommissioning Package
