$80,000 - $110,000/year plus up to 3% year-end bonus $5,000 Sign-On Bonus •this is a traveling position around Milwaukee area As a Senior Calibration/Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating and adjusting complex equipment to meet customer requirements. Performs calibrations across temperature, humidity, pressure, dimensional, torque, force, electrical, and high-voltage systems. Supports testing and calibration of lithium battery systems, power supplies, and high-current/high-voltage equipment, as well as general electronics. Leads calibration efforts for centrifuges, incubators, and cold storage units. Maintains accurate documentation (metrology database, calibration certificates, equipment history, timesheets, and software records). Continuously develops technical proficiency and communicates with customers on service progress. Supports critical technical maintenance services in regulated environments.Responsibilities:
Perform calibrations and generate calibration or out-of-tolerance reports per customer requirements Calibrate and troubleshoot electronics, power supplies, and high-current/high-voltage systems Support testing and calibration of high-voltage lithium battery equipment Lead on-site calibration activities and coach team members Ensure compliance withISO/IEC 17025
laboratory standards Apply and improve measurement procedures for efficiency Follow standardized processes to meet quality and deadline expectations Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams Model company values and maintain high-quality work standards 50% travel, mainly within the Milwaukee areaBasic Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or technical/trade school certification (associate degree preferred) 2+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, electronics, or a related field Knowledge of measurement principles and calibration methods Experience with electrical and electronic test equipment; high-voltage experience is a plus Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 or similar quality systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office and calibration software systems Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to follow procedures and work independently or as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in lab and/or field environmentsPreferred Qualifications:
