Construction Overview Are you a proactive organizer with a passion for construction and project coordination? Join our team as a Project Administrator, where you'll play a vital role in keeping projects on track, teams aligned, and operations running smoothly. This is a dynamic position that blends administrative expertise with hands-on involvement in construction project workflows. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and enjoys being at the center of project execution. What You'll Do + Serve as a key point of contact between project managers, contractors, and stakeholders. + Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and ensure timely follow-ups. + Manage budgets, expenditures, and financial tracking to support project cost control. + Maintain and update project calendars, timelines, and milestone schedules. + Assist in hiring contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance and readiness. + Create PowerPoint presentations and reports to support project proposals and updates. + Monitor compliance regulations and ensure documentation aligns with industry standards. + Support HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection project components. + Track project progress alongside Project Managers and Assistant PMs, identifying and resolving issues. + Organize venues and logistics for project-related events and meetings. + Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to enhance team productivity. What You Bring + Minimum 1 year of experience in project administration within the construction industry. + Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, and fire protection. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate clearly across teams. + Familiarity with sales coordination and basic construction workflows. + Knowledge of compliance regulations and safety standards in construction. Preferred Qualifications + Experience with project management software or construction-specific platforms. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a positive attitude. Work Environment + Office-based role located in Milwaukee, WI, with occasional coordination with field teams. + Collaborative setting with contractors, service providers, and project managers. + Structured, professional environment focused on efficiency, safety, and team success. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35000.00 - $50000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
