Job Description
Position Description Calibrates, sets-up and uses sophisticated and or specialized measurement and test equipment. Measures and records data for assigned projects. Interprets data and prepares recommendations. Writes reports and communicates results.
Job Responsibilities Performs a variety of non-routine assignments of moderate complexity, including various engineering tests using sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment
Fabricates prototype components and/or assemblies for product testing
Documents all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results, conclusions and recommendations
Compiles and computes a variety of engineering data; analyzes test and design data and prepare reports
Analyzes problems and recommends solutions; expedites prototype parts or assemblies
Develops, prepares and makes recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specifications
Performs other duties as assigned Job Skills Requirements Ability to set-up, calibrate and use sophisticated and or specialized measurement devices and test equipment
Understanding of a specialized technical area
Demonstrated ability to learn complex engineering software
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interpret data and create technical documents
Fluent in primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location and able to read English
Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location Education Associates Degree in Technical Field or related field, or equivalent education and experienceExperience Requirements Five years of experience working with small/large engines, engine powered equipment or industry related products
