POSITION SUMMARY
The Hydraulic Technician is responsible for ensuring that outgoing products meet customer needs & expectations. This is achieved by ensuring all procedures are followed, all assemblies meet Kundinger quality standards, and customers are cared for at Kundinger and in the field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Assemble hydraulic power units in accordance with engineering specifications, schematics, and quality standards.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems and related components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Safely operate a variety of shop equipment, including saws, benders, mills, and drill presses.
  • Utilize overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts to transport and position components during assembly.
  • Perform precision drilling and tapping of holes in compliance with industry standards.
  • Assemble and install hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, filters, and heat exchangers.
  • Rout and install hydraulic hoses, tubing, and fittings with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Interpret and follow fluid power and electrical schematics/drawings, blueprints, and component installation instructions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with customers and team members.
  • Ensure all work meets quality requirements and complies with company and customer standards.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within established timelines.
  • Support the Kundinger Quality Control process through compliance with the Quality Management requirements, customer focus and continual improvement.
  • All other duties as assigned.
