About the Role We are looking for an experienced Machine Builder / Electromechanical Technician to join our team and help build, test, install, and service custom machinery and automated systems. This is a hands-on position involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assembly , along with machine wiring, controls troubleshooting, equipment startup, and field service. You'll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, controls partners, service teams, and customers to bring custom equipment from assembly through successful installation and operation. What You'll Do Assemble and build custom machinery, automation equipment, tooling, and related systems. Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assembly. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals. Route, bundle, label, and terminate wires and cables according to applicable standards. Perform point-to-point wiring of relays, PLCs, I/O modules, VFDs, instrumentation, interfaces, and other control components. Build and troubleshoot electrical control panels. Identify and correct wiring errors, component failures, and equipment issues. Work with controls and programming partners during machine builds, testing, installation, and service. Connect to and troubleshoot controls hardware and control logic using software. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, service, and customer teams to complete projects successfully. Maintain accurate red-line markups and document design or fabrication changes. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. Install, start up, test, troubleshoot, and service equipment at customer locations. Prepare accurate service reports and document project progress. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience as a machine builder, electromechanical assembler, service technician, or similar role in a custom machinery or Engineer-to-Order manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience installing, commissioning, starting up, troubleshooting, and servicing custom machinery or automated equipment. Experience with custom machinery, automation, tooling, or capital equipment. Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, solenoid valves, and other industrial control components . Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics. Experience with electrical wiring and control panel construction. Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Ability to connect to and troubleshoot controls hardware and control logic using software. Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills. Technical degree, certificate, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience. Preferred Experience Robotics programming Electrical or controls engineering PLC troubleshooting/programming Custom automation equipment Machine commissioning and startup Field service experience Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing

Pay:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
