Job Description

What if your handiwork powered a spacecraft? At Ace Precision, it can. We're a long-standing leader—40+ years strong—serving Aerospace, Power Generation, Defense & Space, and Aftermarket Repair & Overhaul. From commercial jets to military platforms to spacecraft, our parts keep missions moving. Now we're adding a Precision Laser Operator in Oconomowoc or Menomonee Falls, WI . The opportunity Imagine stepping to a station equipped with
CO2 , YAG
, and flat-cut laser systems. You review the sketch and setup packet, map your sequence, launch the program, and keep a sharp eye for anything off—heat input, edge quality, or a dimension drifting. You verify with micrometers, pin gauges, and vernier calipers, deburr to spec, and flag any process or sequencing anomalies so the next run is even better. Core responsibilities Read and apply sketches, setup sheets, and related documents to machine precision parts. Start and monitor laser operations; catch malfunctions and out-of-tolerance conditions early. Recognize/report process variation, sequence issues, and dimensional/finish deviations. Inspect to specification using micrometers, pin gauges, and vernier calipers. Deburr and finish parts as required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Two or more years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination. What's in it for you Strong pay with annual reviews. Choose from day or night schedules, with compressed workweeks and a 10% shift premium for eligible shifts. Voluntary overtime, when you want it.
Robust benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance. 401(k) match up to 8% .
Time to recharge:
Paid Vacation, Personal Time, and 9 Paid Holidays . Paid Parental Leave. Wellness Program reimbursements, Safety & Wellness reimbursement, and an Employee Assistance Program. Tuition reimbursement to keep your skills sharp. Tools are on us—bring your focus, not your toolbox. Why you'll love working here We're growing fast and committed to excellence, innovation, and quality. If you're hands-on, detail-driven, and excited to see your work take flight, let's talk. Equal Opportunity Employer, including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.
