Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Sampling Equipment Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting sampling equipment used across various industrial and manufacturing environments. Your expertise will ensure that sampling systems operate efficiently and accurately, supporting quality control and process optimization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including sensors, vision inspection systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), while providing exceptional customer service in the field. Responsibilities Install sampling equipment and associated components according to detailed schematics and technical specifications, ensuring precise placement and secure connections. Calibrate sensors, vision inspection systems, and other measurement instruments to guarantee optimal performance and measurement accuracy. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters, precision measuring instruments, and AutoCAD drawings. Perform routine maintenance on sampling systems, including calibration checks, sensor replacements, and system upgrades to minimize downtime. Interpret electrical schematics, control system diagrams (including distributed control systems), and PLC programs (such as Calypso) to diagnose faults or modify system configurations. Collaborate with clients to provide field service support, ensuring seamless installation and ongoing operational excellence. Maintain detailed documentation of installation procedures, calibration records, maintenance activities, and system modifications for compliance and quality assurance. Experience Proven experience in industrial electrician work or industrial maintenance roles within manufacturing or processing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, and precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), especially Calypso or similar systems used in automation processes. Experience reading schematics, technical drawings (including AutoCAD files), and wiring diagrams for complex systems. Knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems in industrial settings; military experience is a plus. Background working with vision inspection systems or CNC machinery is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members alike.
