Job Description
Systems Test Technician The Quality Technician inspects and completes as necessary the entire filtration systems that range in price from $30,000 to $4M. This includes the mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems. You will load and test the plc program, test all pumps and give the final go ahead that the system is ready for shipment. With 60% of our systems being custom designed and each technician assigned their own systems the job is challenging and extremely interesting. 1st shift work Annual Bonuses based on Profitability Profit Sharing Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Accident, 401k
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to use a computer to download PLC's, VFD's, and other electrical components.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components.
- Will need to work with water, oil, and air when running filtration systems.
- Measures current and voltages using volt amp meter.
- Following safety guidelines the Test Technician will need to work with voltages up to 575V
- Requires the ability to operate basic hand tools and electrical measuring devices.
- May need to assist electrical assembly.
- Occasionally will need to communicate with customers during an in-house factory acceptance test.
- Must be oriented and capable of meeting daily goals for production Align with company goals.
- Outstanding understanding of the filtration system and components including pumps and PLC's
- Flexible hours as required
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Two years of experience or the equivalent working with electrical and mechanical systems Read and thoroughly comprehend technical drawings. Operate basic hand tools and electrical measuring devices. Ability and knowledge working with high voltage equipment preferred. Strong computer skills. Demonstrated knowledge of pneumatics and pumps helpful. Prefer Technical School degree with an emphasis in electrical components.Job Type:
