Job Description

Join WITRON as a Electro-Mechanical Technician! WITRON is hiring a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician / Industrial Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Technician to support a highly automated distribution center environment . In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and PLC-based system support to keep advanced material handling and automation systems running at peak performance. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, 480V electrical systems, conveyors, motors, and automation equipment who thrive in a fast-paced, safety-focused workplace. Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated systems Work on conveyors, motors, sensors, PLCs, and control systems Troubleshoot electrical systems (3-phase, 480V), VFDs, and mechanical equipment Support operations by minimizing downtime in a fast-paced distribution center Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects Use CMMS systems to track maintenance activities
Qualifications:
1-2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or Electro-Mechanical Technician Strong skills in: Electrical troubleshooting (480V, 3-phase, controls) Mechanical systems (motors, gearboxes, conveyors) PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.) Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment preferred Basic computer skills (CMMS, Microsoft Office)
Physical Requirements:
Walk, stand, climb, and kneel throughout shift Work at heights up to 80-100 feet (with PPE) Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Work Environment Work includes time in cold storage and freezer environments (down to -10°F ) Exposure to an industrial warehouse setting with automated systems Why WITRON?
