What You'll Do In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical and automation systems that keep production running efficiently and safely.
Key responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Programming, modifying, loading, and diagnosing PLC systems across multiple platforms and generations Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting HMIs, VFDs, and motor control systems, including Allen-Bradley drives Supporting and maintaining sensors, I/O systems, and field instrumentation across production equipment Collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions Supporting equipment startups, commissioning, testing, and system upgrades Designing and implementing control system improvements to enhance safety, uptime, and efficiency Maintaining accurate documentation, program backups, and version control for all control system changes Providing off-hours or emergency support when needed to minimize production downtime What You Bring We are looking for a technically skilled and solution-driven professional with strong industrial controls experience.
Required qualifications:
Hands-on experience in industrial electrical and controls maintenance Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems Experience working with Allen-Bradley platforms and drives Ability to troubleshoot across multiple generations of control systems and equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a production environment Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a maintenance team Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, packaging, or high-speed production environments is preferred Willingness to support overtime and off-hours troubleshooting as needed Why This Role Stands Out This is more than a maintenance position.
