About the Role Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer. This position will be based at our manufacturing facility in Barton, AL. This engineering professional will support manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance personnel in their efforts to optimize process controls to improve efficiencies and equipment run ability. What You Will Do Develop strong and effective linkages and relationships with the Engineers, Maintenance Planners, Process Leads, and trades people; Attend/participate in all area safety related initiatives; Attend/participate in maintenance outage planning meetings for area of responsibility; Work with area operations, Reliability Department and Engineering to solve repetitive equipment reliability issues; Work with Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Supervisor and Engineering as required to accomplish daily engineering and maintenance work order task; Provide technical assistance to E/I Technicians to solve daily maintenance repair and run-ability issues; Work with Reliability Department on the development of equipment preventative maintenance procedures; Assist with daily emergency repairs if needed; Assist in the development of craft training and the development of training material; Participate in a Weekend Duty Rotation for the site; Develop a thorough knowledge of machine/product technology and processes; Share technical knowledge that improves equipment efficiency and reliability with operating and maintenance team members; Foster group decision-making and teamwork through open and honest communications, constructive feedback, delegating authority, positive performance reinforcement, and healthy relationships based on mutual trust, respect, and personal dignity of every employee; Skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point;
