Location:
Heflin, AL Job Summary The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for design, installation, and commissioning of various wire and cable production lines and supporting machinery. Will be responsible for supporting maintenance activities on legacy equipment as well as incremental upgrades of the same. Will manage several projects simultaneously. Will be responsible for producing accurate schedules and budgets for the same. Will support maintenance staff and area engineers as required. Key Responsibilities Complete electrical projects from design through commissioning Prepare BOMs for project budgeting and procurement Provide documentation as required to support maintenance-to include LOTO procedures, one-line diagrams, controls schematics, etc. Ideate original designs Work with vendors, contractors, and internal labor to complete assigned projects Coordinate with plant management groups to complete projects within production schedules Support high level troubleshooting Keep abreast of current technology and utilize this information effectively Required Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program 3+yrs applicable manufacturing experience Proficiency in AutoCAD Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel Proficiency with PLCs, both Siemens and Rockwell based Strong analytical and project management skills Good verbal and written communication skills Travel Some travel may be required.
