Job Description

Brunel is currently searching for an Electrical Engineer II for a long-term contract position with our client. Position will be offered on a 4x1 rotation in Bagdad, AZ (4 weeks at site, 1 week off at home). This position will provide technical advice and guidance for assigned electrical engineering projects. Assist Senior Engineers in developing and executing electrical engineering projects that leverage new technologies to improve site safety, operational efficiency, cost control, quality control, and environmental protection.
Essential Functions:
Review, investigate, and develop recommendations regarding assigned engineering projects. Manage small- to medium-sized site construction, expansion, or modification projects, and assist Senior Engineers with large or complex projects. Administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment. Develop a working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations applicable to the assigned area. Assist Senior Engineers in site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated engineering areas. Develop and evaluate AFEs (Authorizations for Expenditure) for capital funding requests. Represent the site, as needed, on company-sponsored steering committees, task forces, and project teams. Perform other duties as assigned.
