Job Description

Brunel is currently searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership, guidance, and expertise for all phases of electrical engineering projects. Lead the development and implementation of engineering solutions that leverage emerging technologies to enhance safety, improve operational efficiency, optimize costs, ensure quality, and support environmental stewardship. Serve as a subject matter expert for complex engineering initiatives and provide technical support to site leadership. Position will be offered on a 4x1 rotation in Bagdad, AZ (4 weeks at site, 1 week off at home).
Essential Responsibilities:
Review, investigate, and develop technical recommendations for assigned engineering projects and operational challenges. Lead and manage large-scale or complex site construction, expansion, modernization, and infrastructure improvement projects. Serve as the site's Electrical Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical guidance and support to operations, maintenance, and management teams. Advise site leadership on engineering best practices and compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Contribute to site strategic planning, capital planning, and budgeting activities within designated engineering disciplines. Develop, justify, and evaluate AFEs (Authorizations for Expenditure) to support capital investment initiatives. Evaluate, negotiate, and administer contracts for engineering services, equipment, and project execution. Represent the site on company-sponsored committees, task forces, technical working groups, and project teams. Identify and implement new technologies, methodologies, and engineering solutions to improve operational performance and reliability. Perform other duties as assigned.
