4X10's Tues - Friday Position Overview We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with previous electrical calculation experience to support engineering activities within a nuclear power plant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles along with experience supporting plant systems, modifications, calculations, and engineering evaluations. Previous nuclear power plant experience is highly desired. This role will support the design, development, modification, and implementation of plant electrical systems and related engineering projects while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and nuclear regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform engineering tasks requiring the application of electrical engineering fundamentals in support of plant systems and modifications. Support the design, development, analysis, and implementation of electrical system modifications and upgrades. Develop and perform electrical engineering calculations and technical evaluations. Assist with engineering studies, feasibility reviews, and technical analyses for proposed projects and system improvements. Support preparation of engineering documents, design change packages, specifications, and operating plans. Provide technical support for plant electrical systems and related equipment. Ensure engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements, and plant procedures. Support troubleshooting and problem resolution activities for plant electrical systems. Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and project teams to support plant initiatives and modifications. Participate in system walkdowns, engineering reviews, and implementation activities as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline. Previous experience performing electrical engineering calculations. Knowledge and ability to apply engineering principles, practices, theories, and calculations. Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills. Understanding of systems design and engineering evaluation methods. Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, safety practices, and engineering methods. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Desired Qualifications Previous nuclear power plant engineering experience strongly preferred. Experience supporting nuclear plant modifications, upgrades, or calculation packages. Familiarity with nuclear engineering processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; however, a PE license is not considered an equivalent substitute for the required engineering degree in nuclear applications.
Pay:
$60.00 - $90.00 per hour
