Fpga Engineer

Description FPGA Engineers develop and verify designs for all major FPGA vendors and device families including Xilinx, Altera, and Microsemi. Designs are implemented using VHDL for the following applications: gigabit serial interfaces, Radio Frequency (RF) and Electro Optical (EO) DSP, controls, data links, embedded processing, and processor interfaces. Designers work with circuit card designers and systems engineers to develop requirements, architect new parts, collaborative modeling of algorithms, code development, simulation, and place and route. Designs are verified against requirements and design support is expected from requirements definition through integration and test.

Key Responsibilities:

Design hardware that directly integrates into production products Follow strict specifications, requirements, and validation processes Develop robust designs suitable for long-term production use Design digital circuit cards used in missile systems Work with high-speed digital interfaces such as PCIe and Ethernet Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
