- you've come to the right place. Role Description Form Energy is hiring a Staff Electrical Engineer to impact development and validation of our groundbreaking battery technology. As part of our BMS Hardware & Electrical System team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of PCBA design
- from requirements generation, component selection, schematic & layout development,, release through vendor DFM, bring up, and verification.

- from requirements generation, component selection, schematic & layout development, design release through vendor DFM, bring up, verification, configuration management, sustaining Ensure PCBA designs meet safety, reliability, and compliance standards for high-power and hazardous systems Create requirements, DFMEA/CFMEA, electrical block diagrams, simulations, analysis, schematics, layouts, bring-up/test plans, and 8 Discipline (8D) reports Work cross functionally with System Engineering, Mechanical/Electro-Mechnical, Firmware/Software, & Test/Verification teams to define, design, & test PCBAs and resolve Electrical System related issues Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of released PCBA designs Document Design Concepts, Architecture, Block Diagrams, Bring-Up/Test Results, Root Cause Investigations, and Decision Matrices What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience (battery or energy storage systems experience is a plus); OR Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
