Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern in their fourth years of study to join our innovative team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in electrical systems, system design, and project execution within a dynamic engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, familiarity with CAD tools, and an interest in cutting-edge technologies such as FPGA, SoC, and quantum engineering. This role provides exposure to various aspects of electrical and mechanical integration, firmware development, and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Assist in preparing detailed electrical designs and schematics for commercial and industrial facilities. Assist in develop interconnection and distribution plans for Medium Voltage systems.- Create technical reports, documentation, calculations, and sketches. Assist in designing and prepare drawings for electrical distribution and lighting systems. Assist in developing project specifications and support equipment selection. Assist in performing engineering studies for system analysis (short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, etc.). Assist in preparing designs and calculations for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar PV systems, and microgrid arrangements. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and industry standards/regulations. Assist in coordinating and liaising with approving authorities and clients, incorporating feedback into designs. Assist in liaising with utilities and relevant authorities to support the grid interconnection process. Conduct site visits as needed. Perform Power Quality Analysis. Assist in research and design Microgrid systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Assist in designing solar power systems with inverter systems. Conduct engineering studies (short circuit, coordination, arc flash, etc.). Assist customers with the grid interconnection process. Assist with Medium Voltage design. Assist with Battery calculations. Qualifications Enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering Program on 3rd year level. Familiarity with
ETAP, SKM, AUTO CAD, MICROSOFT OFFICE.
Hands-on experience with soldering (surface mount technology), firmware development, debugging tools like ohmmeters or vision inspection systems is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis on electrical issues. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen interest in quantum engineering or signal processing are beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. This internship provides valuable industry experience in electrical engineering projects across various disciplines including system design, manufacturing support, firmware development, and hardware troubleshooting—all within a professional setting committed to innovation and technical excellence.
