Electrical Engineer - Entry Level About the Role We are seeking a motivated entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. You will work alongside senior engineers across the full project lifecycle — from system design and power studies through commissioning and field support — building practical skills in power systems, protection, and automation. Responsibilities Assist in developing electrical design packages including single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and construction drawings Support power system studies in ETAP — load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and protection coordination Participate in power system protection and automation tasks, including relay settings and control logic review Assist with PLC programming, configuration, and troubleshooting Produce and maintain CAD drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent Provide onsite commissioning support — equipment startup, functional testing, and punch list resolution Maintain accurate documentation including test reports, as-built redlines, and project records Qualifications B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field Foundational knowledge of power systems, circuit analysis, and electrical design Exposure to ETAP or similar power system analysis software (SKM, PowerWorld) is a plus Proficiency or coursework experience with AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent CAD tools Familiarity with PLCs, relay logic, or industrial control systems is a plus Willingness to work onsite in a field environment during commissioning and startup phases Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, or ANSI standards is a plus EIT registration is a plus Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
