Job Description

At Apple you will continuously push the envelope. You can't just pick off-the-shelf components. Instead, you must get creative and define them. As a member of our team, you will design and build the most advanced mobile display modules, with best-in-class performance, quality, and reliability. Your work will directly impact user experience for hundreds of millions of people.

DescriptionAs a Display Electrical Design Engineer, you will drive projects, from concept phase, all the way through engineering builds, and into volume manufacturing. You will work with internal and external teams to ensure a coherent end-to-end solution that challenges the status quo.
Responsibilities:
Drive display module electrical design requirements for new product introduction, from concept level and initial prototypes to mass productionContribute to the overall module architecture including custom silicon requirements and IPsDefine validation plansManage our vendors to ensure we produce high quality productsWork together with a world-class cross-functional team to designing exciting new products using state-of-the-art display technology that pushes the envelope of what is possiblePreferred QualificationsExperience with module or system design and architecture focused on defining detailed electrical specs to meet high level requirementsExperience working with cross functional teams on multi-disciplinary HW designs (HW, FW, SW, Mechanical/Thermal, Optical)Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the timeMinimum QualificationsMinimum requirement of a bachelors degreeExperience with PCB design including component selection, schematic capture, and layoutExperience using circuit simulation tools such as HSPICE or SpectreExperience with prototype IC or PCB bring-up, validation, and failure analysisExperience with coding or scripting with Python, Matlab, or similar toolsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $190,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
