ARM Electrical Engineering Full Job Description Job Summary:

Design Catapult, Inc. is an industrial design and engineering company located in Fountain Valley, CA, specializing in product design and prototype development across medical and dental, sports and fitness, electronics and computers, and industrial products. For over 20 years, we have delivered innovative engineering solutions with a strong track record of client satisfaction. We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to support project-based electrical and electronic design and development initiatives. This role requires a self-disciplined, motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage engineering tasks from concept through implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design electrical circuits, embedded firmware, PCB fabrication layouts, PCB assembly, and troubleshooting solutions Develop analog, digital, and microcontroller-based circuit designs Perform PCB layout and design using approved software tools Create, maintain, and update engineering design documentation Troubleshoot electrical and embedded systems throughout development and testing phases Collaborate with internal teams to support project-based design and development initiatives Complete assigned engineering tasks independently and within project timelines Qualifications - Education, Experience, License and Certificates Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related degree from an accredited university Minimum of five (5) years of full-time engineering experience Must be authorized to work in the United States Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Strong experience in analog, digital, and microcontroller circuit design Experience working with STM (STMicroelectronics) microcontroller product lines Proficiency in Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout Experience with embedded C programming Familiarity with communication protocols including RS232, SPI, I2C, USB, Bluetooth, and WiFi Working knowledge of ARM, AVR, Arduino, GUI, IoT, and mobile applications Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods Ability to use hands and fingers for computer and electronic assembly/testing tasks Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment up to 25 pounds Ability to visually inspect detailed electronic components and schematics
