Position We are seeking a Building Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, Designer, or Entry-Level professional to join our team. The position will support the design and development of commercial and industrial building systems and will provide the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in a multidisciplinary consulting environment. Responsibilities and level of involvement will vary based on experience and qualifications. General Skills & Responsibilities Develop and support the design of commercial and industrial building systems. Prepare engineering calculations, equipment sizing, system layouts, schedules, and construction documents. Conduct site visits and evaluate existing conditions to support design development and project assessments. Support feasibility studies and evaluations of existing building systems. Assist with the preparation of technical specifications and preliminary project budgeting. Coordinate engineering designs with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines. Apply applicable building, energy, safety, and engineering codes and standards. Review drawings and technical documentation for coordination and design consistency. Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Electrical Electrical responsibilities may include the design and analysis of: Utility services and electrical distribution systems Load and demand calculations Panel schedules and single-line diagrams Lighting and power systems Life safety, telecommunications, and security systems Voltage drop and fault-current calculations Applicable requirements of the National Electrical Code (NEC), California Electrical Code (CEC), and other applicable codes and standards Mechanical Mechanical responsibilities may include the design and analysis of: HVAC systems and equipment Heating, cooling, and ventilation systems Mechanical equipment selection and sizing Plumbing systems and coordination Energy-efficient building systems Applicable mechanical, plumbing, energy, and building codes and standards Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required. Three or more years of relevant commercial or industrial building design experience preferred for experienced Engineer and Designer positions. Entry-level candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. EIT/FE certification or progress toward certification preferred. Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
