Systems Test Engineer Job Description The Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for transforming customer requirements into detailed test plans, executing these tests, and independently understanding functional test steps. standards. The engineer will own Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and support the planning of tasks for Engineering Technicians. Effective communication with customers to negotiate the necessary testing will also be essential. Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans and procedures based on customer requirements. Conduct EMI/EMC testing focusing on vibration, thermal, emissions, and susceptibility tests. Ensure compliance with MIL-STD-810 and

MIL-STD-461

standards. Own and conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRR). Support planning and execution of tasks for Engineering Technicians. Communicate effectively with customers to determine required testing. Essential Skills Proficiency in test procedure development and test plan creation. Experience in validation and verification processes. Competence in EMI/EMC testing. Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 and

MIL-STD-461

standards. Strong written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related degree. Ability to develop test plans and procedures from scratch. Experience in test reporting and environmental testing. Skills in integration and test processes. Work Environment The company employs around 40 individuals, predominantly engineers. This role provides the opportunity to directly support Systems Testing within the organization. The position offers significant ownership responsibilities and the ability to set precedents for future testing processes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $73.00/hr.
