Summer Internship - Electrical Engineering

Applied Technical Services, LLC, is a leading provider of critical testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services. ATS was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Marietta, GA. Today the Company employs nearly 2,100 team members in over 95 locations across the United States. Radiation Test Solutions, Inc. (RTS), located in Colorado Springs near Garden of the Gods, is seeking a summer intern in Electrical Engineering. RTS specializes in testing electronic components both before and after exposure to radiation sources designed to simulate the space environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and brings a positive attitude. Hands-on experience with electronics is required, and applicants must be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Preference will be given to students entering their junior or senior year. Strong communication skills, along with careful attention to detail and accuracy, are essential. Candidates should be comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel and possess a basic understanding of electronic components and systems, including diodes, transistors, voltage regulators, basic operational amplifier configurations, DC-DC converters, pulse-width modulators, and the setup of electronic test conditions.
