Engineering Analytics, now part of MacKay, is seeking a driven and relationship - focused Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Fort Collins, CO. This role involves designing at various voltages, equipment selection, preparing power systems, conducting arc-flash studies, and controls system design to meet our clients' expectations and needs. This engineer will be required to travel for approximately 15% of the time. We offer a comfortable, collaborative work environment with flexible work arrangements. Key Responsibilities:
Perform engineering calculations for low and medium-voltage power distribution and motor control, including: Short circuit current calculations Voltage drop calculations Breaker coordination studies ArcFlash Analysis Oversee construction projects as the client representative Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal organizations, groups, team members, and individuals Perform analyses, prepare construction drawings, and write specifications for electrical packages Lead design development for smaller or less complex projects and support senior engineers on technically advanced projects.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 0-4 years of relevant experience in industrial and/or commercial design projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Google Workspace Valid Driver's License Preferred qualifications: Experience with low-voltage power design and instrumentation design Field experience with troubleshooting and installing systems Experience with process design of instrumentation and controls systems for water treatment and industrial facilities Knowledge of SCADA systems operation and design Knowledge of instruments to fit process requirements and coordination with overallSCADA & PLC

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.
