opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer who has experience with the engineering design of power and control systems for large equipment and bulk material handling systems. If you or any of your friends or colleagues are interested in this position, please clickAPPLY NOW.
In this role you will perform electrical engineering calculations in the areas of power systems short circuit, load flow, cable sizing, power distribution equipment specifications and review of vendor drawings. You will also prepare circuit design drawings (cable block diagrams) for electrical equipment cable routing, prepare cable ampacity calculations, cable schedules, cable and raceway routing, preparation of schematics and wiring diagrams, grounding, lightning and lighting drawings, E-House layout drawings, heat loss calculations, preparation of procurement specifications, and bid analysis. position on-site at Denver, CO location. Salary range is from $106,000- 140,000K+ for qualified candidates
JOB REQUIREMENTS
BSEE with specialty in equipment power and controls with 8-10 years+ experience, MSEE preferred, PE preferred Must have a strong background and expertise in electrical distribution, switchgear, motor control centers (MCC), transformers, power distribution centers, generators, UPS, and DC systems Must have working knowledge of NEC and IEC codes, electrical power equipment sizing, generation of project drawings and documents for systems that range from 480VAC to 13800VAC Strong understanding of instrumentation and controls (I&C), ETAP, SKM, FAT, medium voltage switchgear Must have experience withAUTOCAD/2D
for schematics and interconnection drawings, PLCs, HMI and control panels Ideal candidate will have experience with large material handling systems and/or mineral processing and mining equipment or similar experience Strong communication skills- written and verbal and documentation #VIS
