Your Impact We are looking for an Electrical Engineer Intern who will contribute to the success of the Engineering Team, applying their knowledge in Electrical Engineering to support the achievement of team and company goals and deliver innovative, reliable solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and maintain a commitment to professional excellence, quality and continuous improvement. The Role As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you'll be working on highly technical products as part of a team of dedicated engineers and scientists from multiple disciplines. With oversight and guidance from your manager and assigned mentor, you'll be responsible for creating and implementing engineering solutions on product enhancement and new development projects. As a member of a cross-functional team, you will be a key contributor on electrical engineering solutions for air and liquid particle counting systems. Job Responsibilities Supporting new product development and sustaining engineering activities Designing, testing and debugging electronic designs with support from your functional manager, assigned mentor, and peers Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Responsibilities may evolve over time, and other related duties may be assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the company Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering as a third- or fourth-year student or enrolled in a graduate program Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams Experience with using SPICE program Experience with schematic capture tool Possess analytical skills with ability to use basic electrical test equipment such as DVMs and oscilloscopes Solid mathematical foundation with understanding of fundamental statistics concepts such as distribution curves, means, and standard deviation Self-directed and also able to collaborate as part of a cross-functional team Excellent technical problem-solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills Must be at least 18 years of age Authorized to work in the United States Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is a 40-hour per week, full-time, on-site position for the summer of 2026 (3 months) This role primarily operates in an office/lab/manufacturing environment. Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. may be required Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
