Entry Level - 0-2 Years Position Overview A growing manufacturer within the architectural lighting and electrical products industry is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to join its engineering team. This is a hands-on position focused on testing, analyzing, and validating electrical and electronic products throughout the product development lifecycle, from initial R&D and concept development through production. Responsibilities Assist with testing and analysis of electronics and electrical projects using established testing procedures Build and configure testing setups for electrical and electronic products Perform hands-on laboratory testing and measurements Collect, organize, analyze, and document testing data Maintain testing schedules and ensure projects remain on track Support engineering teams during product development and design validation Work on multiple projects with varying timelines and priorities Prepare technical reports and document test results Qualifications Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline 0-2 years of product development, engineering, laboratory, or related experience Familiarity with electrical testing and measurement equipment, including: Oscilloscopes AC/DC power sources Multimeters Wattmeters Hands-on laboratory or relevant academic/project experience Understanding of high-voltage electrical safety requirements Ability to perform technical analysis and prepare written technical reports Experience testing LED drivers and LED lighting products is preferred Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, proactive, and technically curious .
