Job Description

This is an opportunity to make a direct impact designing and commissioning advanced automation systems used by leading global brands. Job Duties & Responsibilities Design electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical based on customer and project specifications. Develop, program, and commission automated control systems using Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and servo systems. Wire, test, troubleshoot, and debug control panels and integrated machinery while supporting equipment installations and field issues. Collaborate with customers, technicians, and internal teams to review requirements, resolve technical issues, improve system efficiency, and ensure compliance with project budgets and applicable standards. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor"s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment involving automated systems. Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical for schematic development and control panel design/layout. Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and programming platforms, including HMIs, VFDs, and servo systems. Knowledge of
UL508A, NFPA
79, and NEC requirements for industrial control panels, along with hands-on electrical wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging experience. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience designing automated packaging machinery, particularly within the packaging industry. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
