Wherever planes fly, equipment is needed to service the aircraft - move, load cargo, load people, fuel, cool, start, etc... Our Windsor plant is hiring a Specialist Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the electrical design of Air Conditioner, Air Start and Ground Power units which utilize a diesel engine, hybrid, or better power as an energy source. This position includes system design and development, control software definition, programming, and documentation. Duties Layout of the electrical systems Definition of the control system Initial programming of unit controls in PLCs, HMIs in CoDeSys development software Maintenance and updates to existing C code for embedded microcontrollers Selection and application of electromechanical control devices such as relays, switches, circuit breakers, transformers, and power supplies. Creation of test plan, and first power up instructions, and support for testing team at the factory Collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate mechanical knowledge into system design, ensuring seamless mechanical-electrical interfaces. Qualifications US Citizenship required for ITAR requirements. Degree in Electrical Engineering - BSEE or better preferred Hands on experience with industrial type equipment and control systems Capable of schematic layout, wiring sizing, and control cabinet layouts PLC programming experience preferred Automotive type wiring harness design, and layout experience a plus
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
