Your Impact Power Electronics is searching for junior electrical engineers that want to gain hands-on experience. You will be working with level 2 and 3 EV Chargers and charging stations . You will gain experience doing commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, monitoring and repairs. This position will require travel to various locations and States throughout the week. Overnight travel of up to 100%, Monday through Friday, is required.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Start-up and commissioning of EV chargers at customer sites. Diagnose and repair of faulted. Proactively identify potential technical issues and suggest corrective actions. Provide diagnostic analysis, repair and/or preventative maintenance to customers. Responsible for physical installations such as connections , wiring, etc. Connecting remotely to software systems Maintain and troubleshoot communication infrastructure to networking hardware, IP devices, and IT systems Complete and turn in field reports that capture time and work completed on site. Complete on-site system audits and evaluations. What We're Looking For AS or BS in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or similar. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Strong end-user computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, email, and web-based applications, as well as the ability to quickly learn proprietary software, service platforms, and diagnostic tools. Must be available to travel as required by operational needs, up to 100% of the time, Monday through Friday.
