at State of Delaware in Dover, Delaware, United States Job Description The incumbent reports to the Chief of engineering and Operations for the Division of Facilities Management and is responsible for reviewing all specifications and drawings relating to the design and installation of basic systems and accessory sub-systems in State owned or leased facilities; evaluate alternatives; consider administrative and technical impact and determine cost-effective solutions. Significant aspects of work in this class involve working with Building Support Systems Engineers and assisting in providing recommendations for new construction and/or remodeling of old facilities, electrical and mechanical support systems; preparing reports, correspondence and initial plans and drawings as well as interpreting other's reports and correspondence.
