Electrical Design Engineer We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and development of industrial control systems and electrical equipment. This role will work on projects from concept through implementation, creating electrical designs, schematics, and technical documentation while supporting production and startup activities. Key Responsibilities Design industrial electrical control systems and panels. Create electrical schematics, bills of materials, and technical documentation. Support project execution, system integration, and startup activities. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable solutions. Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in electrical design and controls engineering. Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, or similar design tools. Knowledge of industrial power and control systems. Ability to develop electrical drawings and technical documentation. Strong problem-solving and project support skills. Preferred Experience with HMI design, system commissioning, and industrial automation projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schaumburg, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $44.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
