Job Title:
Contract Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer for a short-term contract assignment in Florida. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer who can effectively troubleshoot, test, and validate electro-mechanical assemblies and contribute immediately to ongoing projects. This on-site position requires a strong technical foundation and hands-on capability. Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing on electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies. Conduct performance evaluations and functional testing of components, systems, and sub-assemblies. Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and test procedures. Identify root causes of electrical or mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions. Document test results, findings, and technical reports with clarity and accuracy. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support project timelines. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, engineering best practices, and company procedures. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Proven experience troubleshooting and testing electrical/mechanical assemblies in a hands-on environment. Strong understanding of circuitry, electronics, wiring, and electromechanical systems. Ability to use electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Excellent problem-solving skills and technical communication abilities. Ability to work on-site for the full duration of the contract. Additional Skills & Qualifications Hands-on experience with electromechanical assemblies. Proficiency in electrical engineering and troubleshooting techniques. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a clean, climate-controlled facility, providing a comfortable and efficient workspace. The role requires full-time, on-site commitment for approximately two months. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Naples, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
