Full Job Description Manufacturing Electrical/Test Engineer Location:
Palm Bay, Florida, United States (Onsite)
Compensation Salary Range:
$70,000 - $130,000 USD annually Eligibility for performance-based incentive programs (short-term and/or long-term), depending on role level and business performance Position Overview This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and improving test processes, equipment, and procedures used in manufacturing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, test efficiency, and production throughput. Key ResponsibilitiesProjects & New Solutions Improve test yield, production throughput, capacity, and product quality Perform root cause analysis on test failures and implement corrective actions Analyze and reduce test equipment downtime Identify cost reduction and efficiency improvements in test processes Conduct capacity planning and utilization analysis for test systems Select and justify capital test equipment using cost/payback analysis Improve test fixtures and equipment performance Participate in Production Readiness Reviews Support Gage R&R studies for new test systems Sustainment & Support Provide technical support across all product test stages (board to system level) Support production test technicians to meet daily/monthly output goals Troubleshoot manufacturing flow issues and resolve test inhibitors Maintain test documentation and change control processes Train technicians on test systems and products Collaborate with design engineering on production-related design changes Provide mentorship to junior engineers What You Will Learn Cross-functional manufacturing operations and business integration New product introduction and advanced test technologies Professional development in technical and leadership skills within a manufacturing environment Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR Advanced degree in a related field, OR In lieu of degree, 6+ years of relevant experience At least 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience with a focus on product testing Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of basic statistics and process control methods Experience with Six Sigma and Lean electronics principles Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with failure analysis and risk mitigation Ability to facilitate cross-functional technical discussions Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 3 weeks of vacation for new hires 401(k) with employer match and retirement contributions Tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment programs Life and disability insurance Wellness programs and incentives Parental leave and family planning support Adoption and fertility benefits Employee assistance and counseling services Additional voluntary benefits (legal, pet insurance, identity theft protection, etc.)
