Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of electronic systems and components for defense projects. Collaborate with senior engineers to create and review electronic designs, schematics, and specifications. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electronic systems to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Support the integration and installation of electronic and sensing systems. Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members during the project lifecycle. Participate in design reviews and technical meetings to contribute ideas and solutions to a wide range of problems. Maintain documentation and create presentations of systems under development to communicate progress with the customer. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations relevant to electrical engineering in the defense sector. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Strong theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of electrical engineering principles. Proficiency in electrical design software and tools such as Autodesk Fusion 360, LabVIEW, Eagle, Spice, Python, MATLAB, and Multisim Familiarity with defense industry standards and regulations (e.g., MIL-STD, DoD regulations). Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to work independently or with some direction U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Desired Skills/Other Considerations 1-3 Years of experience as an electrical engineer in the defense or manufacturing industry. Internship or co-op experience in electrical engineering. Familiarity with military systems and equipment. Knowledge of power distribution systems, sensor implementation, electronic design, cable design, control systems, or communication systems. Knowledge of software testing and hardware/software interaction.
