Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
Electrical Design Engineer I works to review an application for low power distribution as supplied from the sales team. Confirms application details for system performance and safety. Engineers a solution and puts together a costed BOM and a formal quote using the business software
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Interface with sales on opportunities Engineer solutions by: Perform necessary power calculation Perform necessary safety designs Engineers circuits to satisfy application needs Supports Sales in application Creates necessary engineering drawings to include: 3D layouts 2D schematics PID if required Releases shop engineering drawing package to manufacturing for panel builds Assists manufacturing in assembly by addressing issues Fills out necessary QMS documents (ECN and CA) Attends engineering meetings as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 - 5 years experience in low voltage (460 VAC 3 PH) engineering and design environment(s) BS in Engineering discipline BSEE preferred Ability to use 2D CAD software (AutoCAD) proficiently Ability to use 3D modeling software (Solidworks, Inventor, Alibre) Ability to use MS Office products Ability to work on tasks assigned with some guidance Ability to complete estimates/quote on schedule Good time management skills
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
