Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer specializing in electrical engineering to support complex infrastructure and building projects in Tampa, Florida. This hybrid position blends technical leadership, project delivery, and client engagement, with an in-office presence expected two days each week. The role offers the opportunity to guide multidisciplinary work from early planning through construction while helping develop entry-level team members and maintaining high engineering standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct electrical engineering efforts across projects of varying scale, guiding work from initial concept development through construction completion.
  • Lead coordination with internal and external project stakeholders to keep scope, schedule, and technical objectives aligned.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, presenting solutions, addressing concerns, and strengthening client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project teams by assigning daily work, reviewing deliverables, and supporting staff growth through mentorship and technical coaching.
  • Produce and evaluate electrical design solutions, including systems related to power distribution and structured cabling, with attention to quality and constructability.
  • Manage project progress, resource planning, and deadlines to deliver successful outcomes across multidisciplinary design efforts.
  • Apply engineering judgment to assess construction costs and long-term performance considerations during design development.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated, practical, and code-compliant project execution.
