This role reports into the Senior Manager, OT&EIC Engineering, and leads mid-to-large scale automation projects that drive cost savings, innovation, and operational efficiency. The Sr. Electrical and Controls Engineer owns end-to-end project responsibilities including scope definition, design, procurement, vendor management, start-up, and validation. The role requires strong technical capability in Rockwell systems, industrial power, andSCADA/MES
technologies. Working cross-functionally with plants, vendors, and corporate teams, you will apply deep controls expertise to deliver complex systems that meet business objectives, while mentoring peers and driving standard practices. In this role, you will: Leads electrical engineering efforts through all phases of capital projects- conceptual, feasibility, scope definition, cost estimates, functional requirements, system design, scheduling, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, startup, and validation.
What we look for:
Engineering Degree (BSEE or similar), MBA / MS is a plus. At least 5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing (CPG, Foods, discrete manufacturing is a plus). Strong technical skills related to electrical/instrumentation and controls, industrial power distribution, and Rockwell control systems and devices (must-have). Working knowledge of ISA‑S88, PackML standards. Design Capability in Multiple Disciplines. Demonstrated Ability to Lead Cross Functional Teams. Working knowledge of NEC, ANSI, IEC, NEMA, and NFPA standards. Working knowledge of OT networks including industrial Ethernet, VLANs, switches, firewalls, and secure segmentation of control systems. Working knowledge of data collection systems (SCADA, MES, Historian, SQL). Ability to develop, read and interpret P&IDs and electrical drawings. Experience managing outside engineering firms, equipment vendors, and construction contractors to support project execution. Experience managing spending to approved capital and expense budgets based on project estimates. Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with senior management. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.Zone A:
$88,700- $165,900
Zone B:
$81,300- $152,100
Zone C:
$73,900- $138,300 All ranges are subject to change in the future.
