Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer - Building Systems / MEPAtlanta, GA | HybridA growing engineering group is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support commercial, institutional, industrial, and mixed‑use building projects throughout the Atlanta market. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical ownership, project coordination, and delivering high‑quality electrical system designs.

What You'll DoDesign building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, emergency/standby power, and low‑voltage systemsPrepare construction drawings, load calculations, one‑line diagrams, panel schedules, and specificationsCoordinate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and multidisciplinary project teamsParticipate in client meetings, design reviews, site visits, and construction support activitiesReview shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and assist with field verification during constructionSupport project planning, quality control, and timely delivery of engineering packagesWhat We're Looking For5+ years of electrical engineering experience within building systemsPE license preferred (or on track to obtain in the near term)Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCADFamiliarity with NEC, energy codes, and applicable building standardsExperience in commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, or industrial project typesStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teamsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
