Job Description

Maintenance Electrical Engineer positions offered by HL Mando America Corporation (Hogansville, Georgia). Responsible for maintaining and improving the electrical and automation systems of production equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of automated systems. Support new equipment installations and upgrades, contribute to preventive maintenance efforts, and lead key improvement initiatives. Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement effective preventive measures. Develop and deliver training programs and maintenance manuals for electrical systems and equipment repair procedures. Program and optimize PLCs (e.g., Omron, Mitsubishi), HMIs (e.g., Pro-face, M2I), and industrial robots (e.g., Yaskawa, Robostar) to improve productivity and quality. Design and modify electrical control systems and schematics for both new and existing production equipment. Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to source components and support system upgrades. Support improvement projects related to automation, including system integration, equipment expansion, and start-up activities.

Requires a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field and 1 year of experience performing PLC programming and troubleshooting using Omron or Mitsubishi. Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following: developing HMI interfaces using Pro-face or M2I; performing servo motor control and tuning in industrial automation; and, designing electrical control systems and schematics using AutoCAD. Experience may be acquired prior to completion of degree. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
