This role is based in Davenport, IA. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates within the US. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: This position is responsible for design and certification of electrical components part of Aerospace systems. The individual will be responsible for supporting and leading electrical/electronic activities for new product development including, analyzing requirements and assessing compliance, defining interfaces, reviewing component spec and de-rating, designing PCB/PWB, writing electronic test and qualification plans, supporting product design full life cycle management and providing technical expertise and guidance to team members and mentoring new engineers. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for supporting operation and field service teams with analysis and troubleshooting of legacy products as needed. Support small to medium integrated product development teams and projects Design, analyze, and test mixed signal PCB's (Analog and Digital) for oxygen and nitrogen product lines. Interpret specifications and drawings Develop test protocols and write test reports Support in house and off-site electrical testing as needed Interface with customers as part of development programs Work with suppliers on component and sub-system development Provide innovative ideas for improvements to new and existing products Provide technical expertise to support Manufacturing, Field Support Engineers, and customers Support bids and proposals for new, modified, or upgraded products Maintain an attitude supportive of continuous improvement, teamwork, cooperation, respect, and integrity #LI-LD1
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program Ability to read and generate electrical schematics through coursework or co-op/internships Eaton will not consider applicants for employment, immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of Electrical Engineering experience Background in Aerospace product development processes Working knowledge of EMI/EMC, DO-160, DO-254, and other electrical requirements and testing Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink Understanding of different communication protocols Experience writing test plans, procedures, and reports Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment Demonstrate leadership with a strong customer-focused presence Proficiency in structured problem solving, including RCCA and DFSS methodologies
