- Electrical Engineering co-ops typically work on projects such as: + Designing, developing, and deploying machinery and other equipment intended to execute and improve processes + Programing and integrating industrial controls hardware and software for new and existing machines + Learn and apply PLC programming techniques and AutoCAD electrical + Learn andutilizekey electrical manufacturing tools and systems; suggesting improvements as needed + Process Engineering; support specifications and standards in areas such as compound,component, curing process, or uniformity analyses + Plant Engineering;assistin the safe design, procurement, installation, debug, start-up and operation of plant equipment and projects + Product Design;utilizesoftware and standards foraccuratecreation, revision, and organization of documents and distribution controls •Minimum Qualifications•To thrive in this role, you need… + To be pursuing a degree inElectricalEngineering or another applicable major and actively enrolled in an accredited university + To besophomore-senior level standing with a GPA of at least 3.
