Jr Electrical Engineer Jr Electrical Engineer locations West Des Moines, IA time type Full time posted on Posted 7 Days Ago job requisition id 2026-000413 Hargrove is looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to assist on a 4-6 project identifying and and aiding in creating Lock- Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures for an Agricultural R D facility. The primary focus would be to help develop Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures. The primary locations are in southern MN, Iowa, and Illinois - the ideal candidate would be located in this region with the ability to travel to multiple R D locations. One site would be a home base and travel to other sites will be covered. Experience with an Argricultural plant is highly referred.

Ideal Background Education:

Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university is required.

Registration:

Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.

Experience:

This position requires 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge and application of the current version of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to write clear and precise Lock-Out-Tag-Out instructions Knowledge of industrial equipment Ability to create accurate electrical installation documents from the information found on vendor equipment drawings. Ability to determine construction material quantities. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good presentation skills. Virtual team skills and cross divisional relationships are developed and able to provide interoffice execution support with general supervision.
