Job Description

  • Hargrove is looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to assist on a 4-6 project identifying and and aiding in creating Lock- Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures for an Agricultural R D facility.
  • The primary focus would be to help develop Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures. The primary locations are in southern MN, Iowa, and Illinois - the ideal candidate would be located in this region with the ability to travel to multiple R D locations. One site would be a home base and travel to other sites will be covered. Experience with an Argricultural plant is highly referred.
  • Ideal Background
  • Education:
  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
  • Registration:
  • Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
  • Experience:
  • This position requires 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • + Knowledge and application of the current version of the National Electrical Code (NEC) + Ability to write clear and precise Lock-Out-Tag-Out instructions + Knowledge of industrial equipment + Ability to create accurate electrical installation documents from the information found on vendor equipment drawings.
+ Ability to determine construction material quantities. + Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. + Good presentation skills. + Virtual team skills and cross divisional relationships are developed and able to provide interoffice execution support with general supervision.
