We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer located in Boise, ID for our Northwest Cities & Places team to provide senior technical leadership and oversight as part of a team that provides a wide range of skills for designing and delivering buildings projects for Healthcare, Governments/Public Agency, Advanced Facilities, Transit, and Water market clients.
Your impact:
In this role, you will serve as an expert within your discipline, applying specialized depth of knowledge to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions. You will oversee designer work, lead project teams, and perform quality reviews of design packages while contributing directly to the most challenging aspects of the design process.
While working in this role you'll be managing multiple projects simultaneously while providing engineering and design and/or oversight of facility power distribution systems, grounding, and lighting systems and associated controls. With our team of Electrical Engineers and Designers you'll utilize your exceptional design and analysis skills to plan and design electrical systems for buildings and facilities, including retrofit of existing building systems.
Additionally, you will interact directly with clients, owners, and contractors, providing services during construction on-site and supporting Cities & Places market business development and providing proposals to existing and new clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines, while maintaining high quality standards
Acting as the Engineer of Record and/or Electrical Discipline Lead for electrical design projects including preparing and/or directing design teams in the preparation of complete and coordinated drawings and specifications, and serving as Quality Control reviewer and stamping drawings when required
