Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead and oversee our facilities maintenance and mechanical systems operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining the integrity of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial systems. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and reliability across our manufacturing or industrial environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely repair and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and low/high voltage systems. Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Manage facilities management activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset histories, and maintenance schedules. Oversee troubleshooting of complex engineering issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical systems repair. Ensure compliance with safety protocols by conducting regular safety inspections, enforcing OSHA regulations, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members. Lead project management initiatives for facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets effectively. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repair procedures, safety incidents, and system schematics for continuous improvement. Mentor and supervise team members in technical skills such as HVAC system repair, electrical experience including high voltage/low voltage systems, plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance best practices. Qualifications Proven supervising or team management experience within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair, electrical systems (including high voltage/low voltage), plumbing maintenance, and industrial equipment troubleshooting. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, Ohmmeter usage, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and experience implementing safety procedures in facilities management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Experience managing facilities maintenance teams using CMMS platforms; ability to develop schedules and optimize workflows. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Ability to manage high-voltage electrical systems safely while adhering to all safety regulations.
