Position Overview Del Medical is looking for an innovative, detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing electrical systems for our state-of-the-art radiographic imaging equipment. Key Responsibilities Design & Development:
Create electrical schematics and layouts for imaging systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
Communication Systems:
Integrate Serial Communication Protocols (RS232, RS422, RS485, CAN) into medical equipment.
Motor Control & Power Systems:
Design and implement motor control systems and develop low and high voltage power supplies (e.g., Anthem HV transformer or new generator designs).
Display Integration:
Work with LED and LCD displays to enhance system interfaces.
Prototyping & Testing:
Build working prototypes and test fixtures to validate design concepts.
PCB Layout & Schematic Capture:
Use Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
Documentation:
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including AutoCAD drawings, functional specifications, and verification reports.
Collaborate Globally:
Work closely with cross-functional teams and outside suppliers worldwide to source components and ensure top-notch designs.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the medical device or imaging industry.
Skills & Expertise:
Strong knowledge of circuit design, PCB layout, and power electronics. Proficiency in Serial Communication Protocols (RS232, RS422, RS485, CAN). Experience with motor control systems, power supplies (DC and high voltage), and LED/LCD display integration. Strong proficiency in Altium Designer, AutoCAD, and PCB design. Excellent soldering skills (SMT and Through Hole). Hands-on experience in EMC testing and mitigation. Knowledge of part sourcing and cost-saving optimizations.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and outside suppliers.
